The League
Since the creation of La Liga in 1929, the national competition has been the scene where the two giants of Spanish football have most often clashed. In total, the championship gave rise to 188 clasicos. Real Madrid won 79 times, while FC Barcelona has won 75 times. 35 times, the match ended in a draw.
Champions League
During most of its history, the European Cup, a predecessor of the current Champions League, authorized only one participant per country. Consequently, the highest continental competition has not been the scene of many clasicos. However, there are precedents, some of which belong to history, such as the semi-finals of 2011. In total, the Merengues dominate their eternal rivals in their favorite competition with a short head: 3 victories for Real, 2 for Barça and 2 draws.

In Copa del Rey, it’s different. The Blaugranas are the kings of the COPA and their domination also extends to the matches with direct elimination against Madrid. The figures do not lie: 17 victories for Barcelona, 13 for Real Madrid and 8 draws.
The clasicos in the other competitions are distributed as follows: Super Cup (10 Madrid victories, 6 Barcelona victories and 2 draws) and the league cup (2 Barcelona victories and 4 draws).
Real Madrid before
Since May 13, 1902, the date on which the two teams clashed for the first time, Barça and Real Madrid clashed 259 times all competitions. In total, Madrid won 105 times. For their part, the Catalans won 102 times, while the other games ended in a 52 -covered draw. It is therefore Real Madrid has won the greatest number of clasicos to date.
