The Abbatiello , at the head of the popular Salvatoré pizzafinds itself once again under the spotlight after a member of the organization spoke on a subject far from the kitchen.

While Guillaume Abbatiello had recently expressed itself on the cultural budget, arousing a wave of dissatisfaction and indignation, Katarina Abbatolloshe chose to decide on a completely different issue: roaming.

It is in a video shared on her Tiktok account that the co-owner of Pizza Salvatoré said she went to Old Quebec, accompanied by her , as part of the Book Fair, where she deplores that she had crossed injectable and inhalable drugs on her way, as well as packaging of stamps and condoms.

“(…) It’s beautiful, we want to help people who consume, but there is a way to do this other than by giving the example to children and tourists (…)”, protests Katarina.

The video has aroused many reactions, including that ofAnnie Archambaultcontent designer and street worker, who wanted to answer Katarina’s . It denounces a lack of consistency between them and the conveyed by the company.

“(…) Pizza Salvatoré contacted me two years ago to come to my community organization like around thirty pizzas, fries and liqueurs. My community organization serves who? People who consume drugs by injection and inhalation (…) Your company came to bring that to the people you came basher On Tiktok, ”she says, obviously very upset.

Faced with the magnitude of the reactions, a journalist of Noovo Info conducted his own investigation into the subject, by meeting people concerned in order to take the pulse of their opinion. He also spoke with Katarina’s sister, Elisabeth Abatielloco-owner and company in of the company.

“(…) We would never want to encourage people to hatred, division or fear compared to homeless people, so that’s why the video was withdrawn,” she says, saying that the company tries to do its part by contributing to several organizations related to this issue.

One thing is certain: among the Abbatiello, we do not only garnish the pizzas, we also sprinkle well -sized opinions … even if it means raising the dough of public debates.
