Just after his re -election, the general Secretariat of the Justice and Development Party imprints new impetus to Islamist training by renewing its political pact. Shortly after his ninth congress, the PJD held his first meeting last Saturday. This gathering is a suitable opportunity to refine certain organizational aspects linked to the congress, in order to pursue the political dynamic of the party.
Far from all ambiguity, the message is clear, the PJD prepares for the 2026 elections, and to do this, it does “gravel skin”. With his re -election, Abdelilah Benkirane opened the session by stressing the magnitude of the support messages received, while particularly welcoming the Royal Congratulations message, which the General Secretariat described as“institutional consideration”.
The leader of the lamp of the lamp insisted on the meaning of this renewed responsibility, which obliges the PJD to persevere in the defense of the national causes and the legitimate interests of citizens. True to his line, sometimes described as radical, Benkirane assumes his political course and calls on activists to an intense mobilization. The motto has been laid since the Congress’s outfit: “ Fight to strengthen the credibility of the democratic choice and the dignity of the citizen ».
This meeting also pointed out the spotlight on certain decisions recently advocated by the party. In an unprecedented impulse of solidarity, the General Secretariat approved its participation, alongside the other parties of the parliamentary opposition, at a motion of censure against the continuation of the government’s responsibility, in accordance with article 105 of the Constitution.
In the design of rekindling the national political debate stagnant, and of placing the government in the face of its responsibilities, this initiative aims to turn the wheel of democracy and to slow down the deterioration of the standard of living of citizens. Not that, it also targets the withdrawal or blocking of many legislation related to the fight against corruption and good governance.
At the organizational level, the PJD intends to finalize the composition of the general secretariat, in accordance with the organic law of political parties and the status of the party, in this case the integration of Amina Faouzi Zizi into the General Secretariat, within the framework of the representativeness of young people.
Still in the ambition to infuse a youthful of the party, the PJD decides the appointment of Bahaeddine Akdi as a national treasurer, Mohammed Ennaji to the presidency of the commission in charge of executives and experts of the party, Saâda Boussif at the head of the commission of parity and equal opportunities. Regarding the election of the Chairman of the MRE Commission, the decision was postponed to an indefinite period.
A clear mandate was also entrusted to Abdelaziz Omari for the drafting of a draft internal regulations of the General Secretariat. This text, once subject to the observations of the members, will make it possible to consolidate the operating mechanisms and to ensure better institutional coordination.
In addition, a limited committee, chaired by Omari and made up of figures like Said Khairoun, Bahaeddine Akdi and Réda Bouguemmazi, was responsible for adapting the party’s texts to its revised status. The objective is to achieve a good and due adoption during a next session of the National Council.
Thus, the work has made it possible to officially launch the electoral preparations. Two key commissions are already in action: that responsible for the electoral strategy, controlled by Abdellah Bouanou, and that dedicated to the development of the electoral program, under the direction of Mustapha El Khalfi.
The programming of territorial congresses between June and September 2025 was also validated, a crucial step in the reconstruction of the party’s territorial system and in the remobilization of its bases.
