Mr. Abdessamad Kayouh, Minister of Transport and Logistics, held a working meeting in Doha with his excellence with his excellence Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah al-Duailej, president of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Civil Aviation (ACAO) and president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of the Kingdom of Arabia Saudi and The conference of the International Civil Aviation Organization (OACI) on facilitation.
On this occasion, the Minister expressed the ambition of the Kingdom of Morocco to obtain the support of the ACAO in favor of the candidacy of Morocco for a siege to the Council of the OACI, during the next session of the General Assembly of this UN organization, scheduled for next September in Montreal, stressing that this candidacy reflects the growing role of the kingdom in the field of civil aviation, both at regional and international level.
In the same context, the Minister indicated the importance of cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting Morocco’s reception by the next edition of the World Symposium for the implementation of civil aviation (GISS 2026), a major international event in the aviation sector.
The two parties also reaffirmed the solidity of bilateral relations and their common desire to further strengthen cooperation in the field of civil aviation and air transport.
In this regard, the two officials welcomed the excellence of coordination between the civil aviation authorities of the two countries, especially in the organization of OMRA flights, suitable for the need to intensify efforts to ensure the fluidity and efficiency of these trips.
This meeting is part of the positive dynamics experienced by relations between the two brothers, and reflects the common desire to strengthen cooperation in the field of civil aviation and air transport.
