According to an initial assessment of the departmental fire and rescue service which dispatched 31 firefighters on the spot and no less than 10 machines, the accident was at least 8 injured. Three of them are in a state deemed serious.

The victims, 5 men and 3 women, are aged 20 to 60. They were all evacuated to the hospitals of Pasteur and Saint-Georges.
