Gare du Nord traffic is very disrupted this Wednesday afternoon, due to a person accident in Val-d’Oise. Train traffic has been interrupted for more than 3 hours on the northern part of the RER D. TER and TGV to Hauts-de-France undergo significant delays.
A person accident that occurred on the RERs of the RER D strongly disrupted traffic at the Gare du Nord this Wednesday, April 30. Traffic was completely interrupted a good part of the afternoon between Orry-la-Ville (Oise) and Stade de France in both directions of traffic on the RER D. TGV and TER from and for Hauts-de-France have also undergone significant delays.
The accident occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. It was not until the intervention of the firefighters as well as the funeral directors before the police authorized the resumption of traffic. Traffic gradually resumed from 5.30 p.m., indicates the X account of the RER D but remained strongly disturbed.
TER and TGV from Hauts-de-France, have accused significant delays, up to more than 3 hours for the TGV from Lilles-Flandres which was initially to arrive at 2:14 p.m. Some retications of trains are also to be deplored.
On the RER D, the circulation of trains is also strongly slowed down on the south of the line between stadium of France and Melun and between Stade de France and Corbeil-Essonnes, via Evry C, with elongations of journey time of up to 40 minutes.
