It was necessary to take the right escape during this 6th loop of the Comminges hillsides. A top trio took the lead from the raised flag, leaving the hamlet of Houeganac, after a few kilometers of neutralization for security reasons. After the first difficulties, at the level of Villeneuve-Lecussan a group of 7 runners constituted the escape. They will no longer be joined. It is the last coast of Lespugue that will force the decision: three runners will meet in mind until the arrival. It was necessary to turn the first in the last roundabout. There, Thomas Badouille, the Landais de Saint-Paul, was the fastest, followed by Titouan Pariou (Trie-sur-Baïse) and the premises of Libre Saman, Maxime Sajot.
This race was sponsored by the Olympic Champion Handisport Thomas Peyroton Dardet. Caught by an international race, his father Jean-Claude Peyroton represented him. He also gave the departure of the event which brought together a tray of 140 runners from Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
The public could follow the runners on the big screen and on YouTube, a Grand Prix preceded by the caravan of old vehicles of the Comminges connecting rods.
At the time of the awards, the only female in 3rd category, Clémence Bellemer de Bagnères-de-Bigorre was not forgotten. The Thomas Peyroton Dardet trophy was granted to the Comminges Bikes team.
