-Sunday, May 4, three GQs were aligned with the Lalbenque Grand Prix: Valentin and Loïc in the third category and Dylan, who was already participating in his first race in the second category. The Lalbenque hilly circuit is conducive to racing movements with a Grand Prix of the Mountain by points at the top of the big bump on the circuit. In the third category, Valentin and Loïc checked the attacks and pursued the escapes. In the penultimate lap, Valentin attacked in the company of three other runners. He waited for the last ascent to distort company to his escaped companions, winning alone at the top of the last raidillon. A first victory for the GQ this season. Loïc finished in the peloton after a control race. In the second category, Dylan set off in a frantic race to the first laps. In a race padlocked by the many runners from Cahors Cycling, Dylan remained well placed. Despite a kilometer attack with another runner, they were taken up by the peloton under the impetus of the sprint. Dylan ranked seventh for his first race in the second category. Dylan commented: “The second category rolls stronger than the third, but the rhythm is more regular, the more frank attacks, and you have to know how to play elbows to make its place in the peloton. Sighly a next race because it was far too controlled by Cahors!”
