A “small quantity” of passes for the Quebec Summer Festival (FEQ), which have been obtained suspiciously, will be returned on sale for festival -goers who have not had the chance to get it.
Bleufeu, the organization behind the event which brings together more than 1.75 million festival -goers each year, made the announcement on Wednesday morning.
These passes into general admission come, among other things, “actions carried out against resale” and unused reserves from corporate agreements.
“As part of his efforts to counter the resale of the passes of the FEQ, Bleufeu has monitored purchases and identified suspicious transactions. This made it possible to recover certain passes, ”said one.
The vice -president – Brands and public affairs strategies of the organization, Samantha McKinley, specifies that this is “a few hundred” passes that are again available.
-“The objective is above all to offer a chance to festival-goers who did not have the lucky hand during the initial sale,” she says.
The tickets concerned will therefore be returned for sale at regular price. To get these last chance passes, interested persons must register on the FEQ.CA.
The organization will then proceed to a random selection from the registrations received and the winners of this lottery will be contacted by email. They will then have 48 hours to get up to four passes.
“This approach is made possible thanks to a new registration tool set up this year, which allows those interested to express their interest if other passes came to free themselves,” said Blefeu.
Recall that the 2025 edition of the Quebec Summer Festival will call on festival -goers nostalgia, while Shania Twain, Rod Stewart, Def Leppard, Slayer and Avril Lavigne will perform on the Plains of Abraham, between July 3 and 13.
