The police and the Division of Sûreté du Québec’s major crimes on major seizures and searches in the field of narcotics last week. Two people were arrested in Fall-aux-Outardes and one in Rivière-Saint-Jean.
A residence and a vehicle were searched on rue Leblanc in the municipality of Fall-aux-Outardes on 1is may. Two of the four residents, a 28 -year -old man and a 59 -year -old woman, were arrested.

The woman was released. It should return to the court at a later date for the rest of the procedures. The man, Patrick Rousseau appeared the same day and was released for the rest of the procedures.
Accusations linked to drug trafficking and firearms are deposited against him. The police seized seven poorly stored firearms, ammunition of various calibers, cocaine, equipment used for the sale of narcotics and nearly $ 1500 in cash.

On May 2, the police officers of the Mingenie MRC post intercepted a vehicle of interest on Route 138 between Sept-Îles and Longue-Pointe-de-Minggan, on the territory of the municipality of Rivière-Saint-Jean. The driver, a 53 -year -old man, was arrested and released for the rest of the procedures.
Accusations related to drug trafficking could be brought against him. During the suspect and vehicle excavation, the police seized more than 3,000 methamphetamine tablets, nearly 150 grams of Crystal Meth and contaminated consumption equipment. The vehicle is kept by the SQ as an offense.
