Three people were arrested less than 24 hours apart last week, on the North Shore, for offenses related to drug trafficking.
A first search was carried out in a residence and a vehicle on rue Leblanc, in Fall-aux-Outardes.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) has seized cocaine there, seven poorly stored firearms, ammunition, equipment used for the sale of narcotics and nearly $ 1,500 in cash.
Two of the four residents of the place were arrested on the spot. Patrick Rousseau, 28, faces accusations linked in particular to drug trafficking and firearms.
A 59 -year -old suspect was released awaiting the procedures, the police body said by press release.
Other arrest
The next day, a “vehicle of interest” was intercepted on Route 138 in Rivière-Saint-Jean, between Sept-Îles and Longue-Pointe-de-Mmingan.
-By searching the car, the peace agents got their hands on 3000 Methamphetamine tablets and 150 grams of Crystal Meth.
They also entered contaminated consumption equipment and the vehicle, as a breach.
The 53 -year -old driver was arrested, before being released for the rest of the procedures.
“Accusations related to drug trafficking could be brought against him,” said the SQ.
