“Whether it is the CAQ or Éric Duhaime, the two have the same disregarding discourse on the defense of Quebec’s interests and contemptuous of the referendum process,” said PQ head in press briefing on Tuesday in the National Assembly.
“What a striking gesture to see Danielle Smith to make more in terms of autonomism and defense of her own province, on her own parliament, than François Legault during her entire mandate,” he added.

The Prime Minister of Alberta, Danielle Smith, announced on Monday that she would hold a referendum on the sovereignty of her province next year if a civic petition collected enough signatures.
According to the PQ leader, a possible referendum in the Western province can help the sovereignist cause in Quebec.
“I think it makes you inoperative the contemptuous speeches towards the cause of René Lévesque and Jacques Parizeau, who is to consult the people on their best interest,” he said.
During his press briefing, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon pointed out a light survey of last March which places the “yes” to 40 % sovereignty after distribution of undecided.
“A little harsh style”

Recall that in the aftermath of the federal election, the PQ leader criticized the Bloc Québécois strategy and said he hoped that the party of Yves-François Blanchet “returns a little more to his independence roots”.
On Tuesday, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon accused the conservative chief of having “a little rigorous style whose objective is to make noise”.
“It is a political philosophy that is not ours. We have our hearts in a good place then we prepare our files before deciding, ”he launched.
The PQ still has no partial candidate. It is indicated that an ad will be made “soon”.
Éric Duhaime officially announced Sunday that he was going to try to be elected in Arthabaska. At the same time, the PQ leader campaigned at the maple festival in Plessisville.
Arthabaska was owned by the caquist Eric Lefebvre who resigned last March to start with the curators of Pierre Hairyvre.
In 2022, in this constituency, the conservative party finished second with 25 %. The PQ arrived in third with 10 %.
The QC125 surveys aggregator provides for a very tight three race for this partial between the Coalition Avenir Québec, the PQ and the Conservatives.
