Ottawa, is (6 Mai 2025) – The Canadian Rhythmic Artistic Gymnastics team achieved fantastic performances during the 32e Portimão international which took place 2 au 4 Mai to L’Aréna de Portimão, au Portugal.


GRG and Juniors GRI teams

The Canadian Junior Junior Gymnastics Team in Group gym achieved an impressive performance during qualifications for the full rhythmic gymnastics competition in a junior group, finishing in 4e place. They returned with determination for the finals of the hoops and the Massues of the GRG Junior, where they won gold medals in the two . The talented team was made up of Eliza Bendeliiani, Gillian Lu, Iana Ivanova, Lillian Yervzlin and Cynthia Leng.

Canada was represented by two RGI teams in the competition. The Canada 2 team, made up of Taisia ​​Costeva and Berna Ablikim, obtained a 7th place. The Canada 1 team, made up of Olivia Nguyen and Milana Sholkavich, ranked 8th.


Gri junior

Canada was represented in the four finals by apparatus by Taisia ​​Costeva, Milana Sholkvich, Olivia Nguyen and Berna Ablikim.

Hoop – Taisia ​​Costeva ranked 6th with a note of 21,500.

Ballon – Milana Sholkavich obtained an excellent 5th place with a score of 21,567

Massus – Olivia Nguyen presented a remarkable , winning money with a 2nd place and a note of 23,300.

Ribbon – Berna Ablikim finished the finals in 6th place with a note of 21.566.

Canada was again represented in the four finals by apparatus by Cindy He, Karin Kamenetsky, Angelina Lin and Erica Lee.

Hoop – Cindy He achieved a solid performance, finishing 7th with a note of 22,233.

Ballon – Karin Kamenetsky made a place in the top 8 with a score of 20,967.

Massus – Angelina Lin lacked the podium shortly, 4th with a score of 24,534, while Cindy He followed in 6th position with 23,333.
