After the drama that rocked the town of Saint-Vaast-en-Cambrésis in the North, a 56-year-old woman was indicted for murder after having fatally struck the wife of his passenger on Thursday at dawn. The Cambrai prosecutor’s office, which confirmed the information on Tuesday, talks about a context of marital tensions against the backdrop of suspicion of adultery.
The 50 -year -old victim went early in the morning, convinced that the driver had a relationship with her husband, then in the process of separation. The drama occurred around 5 am: the car “rolled over the victim”, who “quickly died from his injuries,” said the prosecution.
The driver placed under judicial supervision
The motorist and his passenger – the victim’s husband – were immediately arrested and placed in police custody. Both aged 50, they were investigated to clarify the circumstances of death. According to La Voix du Nordan autopsy was to be made last Friday.
