For a glass between adults
A stone’s throw from the opera and its tram stop, a small bar with a welcoming storefront stands in a lively street. Jéroboam offers a varied menu of small and large wines as well as small restorations. Meet in particular on the terrace from Wednesday to Saturday from 5 p.m., for an afterwork. Count between 7 and 18 € for En-Cas and on average 4 to 10 € per glass.
Liège ball restaurants but not only …
If Liège is obviously full of addresses where going to taste the iconic balls, we have selected two addresses that come out a bit of habits. A stone’s throw from Place Saint-Lambert, we find the Liège Food Market: La Grand Post. Six stands in a unique setting of 1200 square meter are offered in this renovated building. Indian, burger, Mexican or Asian, there is something for everyone. Under the sun, the rooftop, with a view of the Meuse, is pleasant.
A emblematic restaurant of the Ardent City, the MacCheroni has moved to lightly get closer to the city center. The Altro MacCheroni has kept all the good recipes appreciated by Liège with authentic and gourmet Italian cuisine. The short card highlights seasonal products and therefore changes regularly. For a pasta dish, count between 18 and 26 €.
A rich cultural offer
Liège, city of the Les Ardentes festival, offers an interesting offer of concerts throughout the year. The Liège Forum hosts many shows, as is the reflektor. Located right next to the Savenière stop, in the old swimming pool building, this room can accommodate up to 600 people. And good news, concert prices generally do not reach the summits.
For standard fans
Obviously, when you go to Liège, you cannot miss the Stade de Sclessin. The Rouches are among the big winners of the arrival of the tram, their stadium being located at one of the ends of the new line. Half of the trams walking the city are also deflected from the “standard” management. And this makes access, on match day, much simpler from the city center, or from the Guillemins station.
