From January 9 to 12, 2024, the 26th International Scuba Diving Show was held in . A delegation of Island professionals from the sector was on site with the support of Réunion Island Tourism (IRT). A 24m2 stand was dedicated to Bourbon Island. The opportunity, according to the IRT, “to promote a nature sports sector with high added value for our island and its professionals”. Nearly 66,000 visitors walked the aisles of this 2025 edition, while the intense island and its professionals were visible on a 24m2 stand. This show has a strategic dimension for our destination compared to the other overseas destinations present: French Polynesia, Guadeloupe and .

New Caledonia had to cancel its visit due to the recent political and economic difficulties it experienced, just like Mayotte which was unanimously welcomed and supported following the passage of Cyclone Chido.

This show also highlighted the world record for the longest underwater human chain made in Reunion on December 1 with 607 divers. A conference was organized, presenting the record film and many wonders of our underwater heritage.

Accompanied by the IRT, professionals from Escapade diving, Dodo Palmé, Excelsus Plongée, Zuurit, Réunion Diving and Travel Concept Sport carefully presented and represented Réunion and its marine biodiversity. The attractive stand of our destination aims to inform a large audience about the possibilities for stays and experiences to be had on our island.
