She offers photographic workshops at the Rotonde
Based in Vaas since 2022, Florence Millet is an eco-responsible photographer.
She explains:
I have always had an eco-responsible approach to my job. “Fast photography” consumes a lot, I want to control my carbon footprint.
Through her treatment of photography, her relationship to images, the question of high definition… Florence Millet focuses on “a few photos” to always achieve “a good job”.
Beyond this aspect of her profession, she particularly likes portraits : “It’s my hobby”.
“I like the technical counterpart of the portrait, playing with the light, with the grain of the person, playing with the model, the positioning, the gestures… It’s about developing your artistic eye to capture a photo unique “.
It is this aspect of his job, but also the technical trickswhich she wishes to teach to photography lovers.
Workshops at the Rotonde
It is at the Rotonde de Montabon that Florence Millet’s photographic workshops will be held.
These workshops are aimed at all those who have a certain penchant for photography and would like to develop their skills and techniques.
These workshops are really for everyone, and for all levels. People can come with their own equipment, but I will bring what they need.
For two days, it will be possible to review photographic codes and principles, such as framing, lighting, shooting points of attention, and above all make put into practice in the presence of two models, invited for the occasion, with costume, makeup…
“The first day, people will be able to work on setting up a photo studio, working on positions with a model. And the next day, they will be in pairs in order to have the real conditions of a studio with an assistant and above all to carry out a project from start to finish. If time permits, people will be able to leave with their prints in 30×40”, reveals Florence Millet.
