At this time, the causes of death are not known. The latter had just celebrated his birthday on June 14.

Taylor Wily’s career: actor and sumo

Real name Teila Tuli, he was an actor but also a former sumo wrestler and mixed martial arts. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, he was of Samoan descent.

Between 2010 and 2020, he filmed 80 episodes of Hawaii 5-0a detective show. A series of 240 episodes of 42 minutes which tells the story of Commander Steve McGarrett who goes to the island of Oahu in the Hawaiian archipelago, to investigate the assassination of his father.

There, the state governor persuades him to stay and form a special police unit with carte blanche to apply his own rules and methods to fight crime in Honolulu.

In 1987, he started a career as a sumo wrestler. With his size of 197 kg and 1m88, Taylor Wily was one of the largest sumo wrestlers. Undefeated during his first 14 official matches, he won several tournament championships. He ended his career in July 1989.
