It was a mother and daughter red carpet which was magnificent. Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt went together to the 2024 Tony Awards ceremony in New York, Sunday June 16, 2024. The actress was present there as producer of the famous musical The Outsiders.

Dressed in a magnificent duck blue draped dress by Atelier Versace, personalized with a sweetheart neckline, she revealed her new indelible feature: a bird in flight. A brand new tattoo since it was not visible last April when Angelina Jolie and her daughter attended the opening night of the musical.

The American star’s outfit was completed with a matching velvet bolero. His daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt (15 years old) – production assistant on The Outsiders – matched her look to that of her mother. If she had opted for an outfit of the same color, the teenager preferred to wear pants, a sleeveless suit vest and a bow tie. Only the white shirt contrasted with the teal blue.
Last April, Angelina Jolie had already revealed a new tattoo during the opening night of the musical. On his arm was written Stay Golda reference to a phrase from The Outsiders where Ponyboy tells Johnny to “stay pure“in the sense not to”to be corrupted by society“.
This has recently made two new tattoos for Angelina Jolie, who reportedly has around twenty spread across her arms, fingers and back. Concerning The Outsiders, it garnered 12 Tony Award nominations and won Best Musical, Best Direction of a Musical and Best Sound Design of a Musical. If Angelina Jolie joined the project as a producer it is thanks to her daughter who is an absolute fan of this novel by Susan Eloise Hinton. She even went to see the show adapted from this work 5 times.
