After being elected Miss Lyon in 2001, Sylvie Tellier represented her region during the Miss France 2002 election on TF1. That day, the young beauty queen won the competition, taking over from Elodie Gossuin as the most beautiful woman in France. After her reign as Miss France, Sylvie Tellier joined the company organizing the competition. A few years later, she would replace the late Geneviève de Fontenay as patron of Miss France, before finally giving way to the one who was elected Miss France in 2005, Cindy Fabre. For a few weeks now, Sylvie Tellier has been in the middle of a promotional tour for her new book, called Crown and Prejudice. The former beauty queen was just on the set of the show Legend, presented by Guillaume Pley on Friday June 14, 2024 on YouTube. During this interview, the former boss of Miss France notably returned to the “big moment of embarrassment” which occurred during “(her) meeting with Johnny Hallyday”. The events took place in December 2005.

At that time, Laeticia Hallyday was the president of the jury for the Miss France 2006 election. She therefore went with her husband to the south of France, because the ceremony took place within the Palais des Festivals and of the Cannes congresses. “Johnny Hallyday arrives and we are in Cannes. […] I was just elected executive director. […] They arrive by jet, the jet is late because it’s raining, I tell myself (…)
