It’s Ary Abittan’s big return to the stage. After several years of setbacks with the law following the accusation of rape to which he was subjected in 2021, the comedian returned to the stage to perform his new show Authentique, Wednesday May 15, 2024 at the Comédie de Tours ( Indre-et-Loire). “You don’t know how much I missed you! It’s been a long time, because…”, introduced the actor, leaving the suspense building. As a reminder, he withdrew from the media landscape after the opening of a rape investigation in 2021, following the complaint of a woman with whom he had regular relationships. Finally, the actor benefited from a dismissal of the case in April 2024. Even if the complainant announced an appeal in this case, the actor decided to resume his public life, as he explained on his Instagram account in August 2023. A return which was not unanimous, judging by the demonstrations of the Actions Féministes collective in front of the Comédie de Tours.
Ary Abittan chose to be frank.
