Prince Harry arrived in England to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games this week.
The announcement of his visit did not fail to raise questions about a possible exchange between father and son, in person.
A meeting which clearly will not take place: “In response to numerous inquiries and ongoing speculation about the possibility of the Duke meeting his father during his stay in the United Kingdom this week, this will unfortunately not be possible in due to Her Majesty’s busy schedule,” Prince Harry’s spokesperson said in a statement.
He added that the latter “understands his father’s agenda, his commitments and his other priorities” and “hopes to see him soon.”
Charles III’s second son is expected to give a reading at St Paul’s Cathedral during a special service for the charity he founded in 2014. Prince Harry made the trip without his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex , who remained in California with their two children, Archie, who turned five on May 6 (24), and Lilibet, two years old.
