In Guinea, social networks have been in turmoil for a few days because of surreal images of Fanta Sangaré. The photos show this young woman floating in the water, supported only by a prayer rug. Eventually this lady was arrested.
Unpublished photos have been agitating the web for a few days, showing the good lady on a prayer mat in the open sea. It appears from the information shared by our colleague africaguinee.com that she was arrested this Thursday, June 22, 2023, by the Taouyah special police station.
But, according to the news site that investigated the police unit that arrested this lady, the latter was not arrested for having prayed on the waves. “His act is not an offence. Why arrest him for that…?” said the police officer, looking surprised. “She is there of course, but that is for another matter. It is a complaint brought against her by a citizen…”, specified the commissioner.
Our colleagues from africaguinee.com also found the complainant in a hearing with another agent. But he and the agents did not disclose the reason for the complaint. According to the Taouyah special commission, nothing will be disclosed for the moment, while the hearing is in progress.
