THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION ANNOUNCES THE RECRUITMENT OF 2,000 TEACHERS

Senegal’s Ministry of National Education has unveiled its plan to recruit 2,000 new teachers, a major initiative intended to strengthen the national education system.

In a note published this Tuesday evening, the ministry announced that detailed information on the submission of applications and the selection criteria will be communicated soon.

This recruitment aims to respond to persistent challenges in the education sector, by providing schools with qualified staff. The objective is to improve the quality of teaching and guarantee a better distribution of teachers throughout the Senegalese territory.
