In recent weeks, President Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to purchase or take control of Greenland – an autonomous territory of EU member Denmark – due to its strategic location.”We need Greenland for our national security“, declared Donald Trump, the 47th President of the United States. “It is questionable whether Denmark has a legal right to this territory, but it should give it up. Greenland’s head of government, Múte B. Egede, has already stated that Greenland is not for sale and that this will not change in the future. Anders Vistisen received a warning for his foul language. He reacted on X, saying that Parliament had threatened him with a fine. “You get fined if you tell the truth about foreigners, crime and Greenland. And if you tell this truth to Trump!“, he retorted.
