Tabaski Ngom is under arrest! The Treasury inspector was placed in police custody this Thursday, on instructions from the financial prosecutor’s office, following her hearing in the premises of the criminal investigations division (DIC).
Ms. Ngom is being prosecuted for money laundering, fraud involving public funds (…), Seneweb has learned.
She is suspected of having pumped 700 million francs or more from the coffers of the Energy Sector Regulatory Commission (CRSE).
But Tabaski Ngom once again wet MP Moustapha Diop on the record. And the prosecutor ordered investigators to summon anyone involved in this alleged scandal.
Arrested by the Mbour research brigade following the complaint filed by Ms. Ngom, Mor Guèye has already paid 300 million CFA francs to the complainant. Despite everything, he was referred to the prosecution of the Financial Judicial Pool.
