The Joal gendarmerie brigade arrested, on Thursday January 16, 25 would-be irregular emigrators who had gathered in an abandoned house in Mbodiène, a beach in the commune of Ngueniène. These are 23 Senegalese and two Guineans. The information was given by the communications division of the constabulary.

Still in the note, it is indicated that ten candidates claim “to have paid sums of between 350,000F to 900,000F for the organization of a trip to a European destination”.

The national gendarmerie recalls that it has intensified its coastal surveillance actions. It is within this framework that this operation was carried out.
