This has even taken on unsuspected proportions in recent hours, since it has already traveled around the world, to the point of reaching the ears of the actor himself.
Through his spokesperson, the latter reacted by warning his fans.

In a press release sent to the American site Entertainment Weekly, the actor and his representative deplored this type of scam of which unscrupulous crooks are guilty. They also took advantage of this opportunity to alert the public, urging them to be more vigilant.

As a reminder, Anne.D, 53, had been scammed by a person pretending to be Brad Pitt. After seducing her on Instagram, the scammer extracted a colossal sum of money from her, notably by making her believe that he was suffering from kidney cancer. To make his scam more credible, the criminal even went so far as to create photos and other videos using artificial intelligence.

Edits, sometimes crude, but which still trapped the fifty-year-old. In total, Anne.D would have paid a whopping 830,000 euros to this scammer, via an obscure bank account, domiciled in Türkiye.
After testifying about her ordeal in the program “Sept à Huit”, broadcast on Sunday January 12, the victim suffered a wave of mockery and cyberharassment which forced TF1 to remove the report from its Replay platforms.
