Complaint – The host of “Take it or leave it” would once again be the target of cyberharassment

Arthur has been in turmoil since the publication by The cheeky onea Luxembourg feminist media, of a four-minute video which demonstrates inappropriate behavior of the presenter during the game Take it or leave it on TF1 in the 2000s. We see in particular the presenter kissing a candidate by surprise or pretending to seduce another, who is visibly struggling to bear his remarks whispered in her ear.

The clip quickly went viral and Arthur was accused of trying to sweep certain evidence under the rug, while others mainly cited television rights issues.

Slanderous cyberharassment

Since the end of December, the host claims that the cyberharassment against him has increased and he has decided to file a complaint. His lawyer, Jade Dousselin, denounced, according to The Parisiana “slanderous cyberharassment, organized to damage image and security”. A complaint which led to the opening of an investigation by the National Center for the Fight against Online Hate (PNLH) for public insults aggravated “by a discriminatory motive linked to religion”, as reported by the Repression Brigade of personal delinquency (BRDP).
