A vacation with her boyfriend in Thailand turned into a nightmare for a young Spanish student. Blanca Ojanguren Garcia, 22, was killed on Friday after being attacked by an elephant she was washing, report the BBC and local media as well as Sky News.
The accident, which caused no other casualties, occurred while the couple were taking part in a tourist attraction in the country, elephant bathing. Everything was going well until the young woman passed in front of the pachyderm and received a blow from its trunk.
