Information circulating on social networks suggests that around twenty Kenyan police officers have submitted their resignation letters over the last 2 months, due to delays in their salaries and poor working conditions, the Agency was told. Godfrey Otunge, EBS, OGW (SAJG) Multinational Force Commander categorically denies these allegations. “Reuters has not contacted the Mission for clarification, and the information disseminated is both incorrect and malicious. All members of the Mission have received their salaries, including monthly allowances, and no officer has resigned, as alleged.
Mission officers remain highly motivated and fully committed to supporting the Haitian National Police (PNH) in conducting decisive operations aimed at dismantling criminal networks and restoring stability.
