The Gaza Strip’s health ministry announced on Monday that the number of Palestinian casualties in the Israeli war had risen to “37,900 dead and 87,600 wounded” since October 7.

In addition to the victims, most of whom were children and women, the US-backed Israeli war resulted in the disappearance of more than 10,000 people, amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens of children.

The ministry said in the daily statistical report on casualties: “The Israeli occupation committed two massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 23 dead and 91 injured were taken to hospitals in the last 24 hours.” .

According to the same source, “the toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 37,900 dead and 87,600 injured since October 7.”

The ministry also stressed that “there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and that ambulances and civil protection teams cannot reach them.”

The ministry announced on Sunday that the number of victims of the Israeli war stood at “37,877 dead and 86,969 injured”.

Israel continues this war, ignoring UN Security Council resolutions to end it immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop the invasion of Rafah (south), and to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the miserable humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Tel Aviv is also defying a request by International Criminal Court prosecutor Karim Khan to issue arrest warrants for its prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and defense minister, Yoav Gallant, for their responsibility in “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity” in Gaza.

For the 18th year, Israel has besieged the Gaza Strip and its war, forcing around two million of its inhabitants, including around 2.3 million Palestinians, to flee in catastrophic conditions, with severe shortages of food, water and supplies. drugs.
