A delayed flight that pays off big
A great victory born from a much less funny situation. “I was at the airport with my daughter. We were going to see family in Florida when the flight was delayed. It was delayed so many times that I decided to go home. My daughter stayed and took the plane. If I hadn’t left the airport, I would never have bought this ticket.”the lucky winner assured lottery officials.

A “Monopoly” scratch card won him the astronomical sum of 5 million dollars, the equivalent of 4.6 million euros. A nice twist of fate: this victory came just days before his birthday.
It remains to be seen how the septuagenarian – who is a great-grandmother – intends to use this sum. “I think I’ll invest part of the price, then I’ll go to Alaska”slips the interested party who especially wishes “keep moving”.
