New bombings, at very short intervals, targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut early Sunday, after an evacuation order from the Israeli army for three neighborhoods — Hadath Beirut, Burj al-Barajneh and Chiyah — where, according to she, Hezbollah installations.
After three successive strikes on three different sites, a thick cloud of white smoke formed above buildings in the southern suburbs, according to AFPTV. Throughout the day on Saturday, the Israeli army shelled the area.
Lebanon’s national news agency Ani reported that the Israeli army carried out a “violent strike in the vicinity of Saint George Hospital” in Hadath. Likewise, a bombing hit “a residential building […] near the church of Mar Mikhail in Chiyah”, specifies Ani.

At dawn, the Israeli army also carried out several bombings on villages in southern Lebanon, including seven on Jebchit in less than two hours, according to Ani.
For its part, Hezbollah reported in a press release nighttime fighting with the Israeli army near the town of Chamaa, approximately five kilometers from the border.
