“I have been completely blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement received over the past few months. It really made a difference to William and me, and helped us through some tough times.

I’m making good progress, but anyone who goes through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On these bad days, you feel weak, tired, and you need to give your body a break. But on good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of it.

My treatment continues, and will continue for a few more months. On days when I feel good, it is a joy to participate in my children’s school life, to spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, in addition to starting to do a little work from of the House.

I’m looking forward to taking part in the King’s birthday festivities this weekend with my family and hope to take part in some public engagements this summer, but I know I’m not out of the woods.

I am learning to be patient, especially when it comes to uncertainty. I take each day as it comes, I listen to my body and let myself take as much time as I need to heal.

Thank you so much for your understanding, and to everyone who bravely shared their stories with me.”
