A jury of listeners from each of the five French-speaking Public Media will award the MFP 2024 Radio Journalism Prize on December 8. Registrations to compose the French-speaking jury are open.
The French-speaking Public Media (MFP) Journalism Prize rewards each year the best treatment of a current event or social fact among the reports submitted by the five member radio stations: RTS, RTBF, Radio France, Radio- Canada and RFI. A jury made up of 100 listeners from five French-speaking radio stations awards this prestigious prize.
As a juror, you will be asked to listen to five news reports and rank them in order of preference.
As places are limited to 20, a draw will be organized in the event of high public participation. All participants will be kept informed from November 22.
Conditions
You agree to listen to the five radio reports in the running during their live broadcast on RTS La Première, on Saturday December 2 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., or in the days preceding on our site RTSinfo.ch.
Your mission will be to classify the five recordings in order of preference by assigning score 1 to the one estimated to be the best, then, in descending order, scores 2, 3, 4, and 5. You will then be contacted on Saturday, December 7 around 3 p.m. to send your preference list.
The results of the MFP “Journalism Prize” will be announced on Sunday, December 8 at the end of the deliberations of all the members of the Jury of Auditors.
How to register?
Registrations take place until November 15. They can be done online via the form available on this page.
