Remains of missing student found in waste incinerator: she passed out in container while searching for her phone and was crushed in a garbage truck

The 24-year-old young woman had been wanted for more than two weeks. She had disappeared after an evening with her friends.

A student argentina from 24 ans who was partying Palma de Majorque was probably crushed to death in a garbage truck then incinerated after falling into a trash can, police said, cited by the Majorca Daily Bulletin. Agostina Rubini Medina was missing for more than two weeks after an evening with his friends on October 2.

The Spanish National Police now have a theory: the drunk student probably passed out while rummaging a garbage containerprobably to get her phone back, and was thrown into a garbage truck, crushed in the truck’s garbage disposal and finally thrown into an incinerator.

His remains found in a waste incinerator

The data of the cell phone‘Agostina showed that the device remained attached near a large trash can for about half an hour before being moved to the incineration plant from Son Reuswhere it died out. This timeline corresponds to the travel records of the garbage truck.

The police then discovered human skeletal remains among the ashes of the incineration plant and sent them to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Palma to confirm whether they are indeed those ofAgostina.
