(Video) When Sonko asked Bougane Guèye to leave Ourossogui in order to avoid disrupting Macky Sall’s convoy

Here is a video of President Diomaye Faye which is going viral again after the arrest of Bougane Guèye Dany in Bakel. It was in April 2023 when he was invited to the show Salon d’Honneur. The Secretary General of the Pastef Party at the time revealed that its leader Ousmane Sonko had asked the President of the coalition Jamm Ak Njariñ, who was making his “Tib Tank” tours, to leave Ourossogui in order to avoid disrupting Macky Sall’s convoy which was in the same area. A gesture which aimed to maintain order and ensure the safety of all.

On his way to Bakel, Bougane Gueye was arrested and held for several hours. He was in custody at the Kanel gendarmerie station. Despite this arrest, the convoy accompanying the leader received authorization to continue its route.
