In its 4 p.m. bulletin this Wednesday, Météo- announced that 35 departments are now on orange alert due to Storm Kirk.

More than 64,000 customers were without electricity this Wednesday at 7 p.m. due to the Kirk depression which is crossing France, mainly in the South, Enedis, the distribution network manager, announced to AFP.

According to Enedis, 35,000 homes are without electricity in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, 8,000 in Landes, 7,500 in Ariège, 4,500 in Gers, 4,400 in Rhône, 2,100 in and as many in Ain and 500 in Hautes -Pyrenees.

35 departments on alert

In its 4 p.m. bulletin this Wednesday, Météo-France announced that 35 departments are now on orange alert due to Storm Kirk. Seine-et- is placed on red alert for the risk of flooding.

While Storm Kirk has been crossing France since Wednesday October 9, Météo-France, in its latest 4 p.m. bulletin, announced that 35 departments are now placed on orange vigilance. As for the Ile-de-France region, Seine-et-Marne is placed on red alert for the risk of flooding.
