The Israeli army said Monday evening that its warplanes had bombed Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

“Recently ago, Air Force fighters, guided by the Intelligence Division, targeted the Hezbollah intelligence headquarters in the Beirut area,” the army said in a press release published on the X platform.

It indicated that its planes carried out raids on Monday morning against targets linked to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa (east).

He added that these targets included “weapons production sites, a missile launch site and other military infrastructure (belonging to Hezbollah).”

Until 8:45 p.m. (GMT), Hezbollah did not comment on the Israeli army’s statement, while Israeli media reported that around forty rockets were launched Monday evening from Lebanon towards Nahariya, Acre, Haifa and their surroundings (north), which brings to around 175 the number of rockets launched since the morning towards northern Israel.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli military said 100 of its warplanes had launched attacks, within the space of an hour, on more than 120 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon.
