They reportedly met the politician through Children’s Health Defense, a group chaired by John F. Kennedy’s nephew and known for its misinformation campaigns about vaccines.
Following the scandal linking him to a correspondent of the New York MagazineOlivia Nuzzi, who recently claimed to have had a relationship with him, the news reporters shared their alleged experiences through text messages that have since been leaked and scrutinized. However, the former presidential candidate’s representatives insisted that he had never strayed from his marriage to actress Cheryl Hines.
