New strikes in Beirut
Israel bombed central Beirut in the early hours of Thursday, killing at least six people, according to Lebanese health officials and wounding at least seven. Israel said it carried out a precision airstrike against the Lebanese capital. The city’s southern suburbs were also affected.

The Israeli army issued a new evacuation order for areas in southern Beirut on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, a warning of probable strikes against Hezbollah. “You are near Hezbollah-related installations and interests, against which the Israeli army will act in the near future,” she said in a statement, pointing to buildings located in the Shiite areas of Haret. Hreik, Burj al-Barajneh and Hadath Gharb.
