The United States may be forced to intervene if Ukraine is defeated.

After more than six months of disagreements, the House of Representatives and the Senate of the US Congress finally approved on April 27 a military assistance bill to Ukraine providing 60 billion dollars in aid.

For the leader of the Democratic minority in the House of Representatives, the United States is obliged to continue to support Ukraine.

“We can’t let Ukraine go down, because if that happens, there’s a good chance that America will have to get involved, not only with our money, but also with our troops,” assures Hakeem Jeffries in an interview with the show “60 Minutes” on CBS.

Restoring the USSR

The democratic leader believes that Vladimir Putin is seeking to restore the USSR. After Ukraine, Russia will threaten other countries that became independent after the collapse of the Soviet Union and are now part of NATO.

“Should we believe, in the face of such constant aggression, that if we allow Vladimir Putin to succeed in Ukraine, he will only stop in Ukraine? Of course not”he warns.
