Dan Crenshaw wanted a “congressional war” against drug cartels. Last Monday, Donald Trump granted the wish of this representative from Texas, elected in 2e district north of Houston. Back in the Oval Office, sitting in front of the pile of presidential decrees that he had committed to signing upon taking office, the 47th President of the United States looks up when a journalist asks him: « Could you order the deployment of special forces in Mexico? ? » With a smile on his lips, he replies: « Stranger things have happened before. » And to sign the famous decree adding the said drug cartels to the list of “foreign terrorist organizations and specially designated international terrorists” (FTO). The Sinaloa cartel, the New Generation Jalisco cartel and the Gulf cartel will soon find themselves on the same list as Hamas, Daesh, Hezbollah…
