However, things have become slightly complicated in the municipality. By trying to avoid the looks of his daughters and his mother, who was absent at his first wedding, Gérard finally broke down. On Lucie’s side, everything seemed to be going well. “There, I feel really good”, she confided while preparing her hair. But, upon arriving at the door of the wedding hall, the stress began to take over. Once inside, Gérard, visibly under the spell of his future wife, let his emotions shine through. And yet, mystery! This new episode also allowed us to discover two new candidates. Aurélie, 32, from Rochefort, single for two years and mother of a little boy, learned that she was going to get married with a compatibility of 80.3%. Then, Aurore, 34, from Seneffe, also learned that she was 77.7% compatible with a future husband.

Until then, everything seemed to follow the usual flow of the show. But surprise! Viewers only discovered one suitor, and not two as expected: Christophe, 38, from Éghezée. “He doesn’t know it, but it is with one of these two young women that he is now engaged.“, announced the voice-over, without revealing their compatibility, leaving the audience in the dark. And there, the tension rose a notch…
-Because, while the two candidates were in full preparations, between fittings and choosing their wedding dresses, Christophe, presented as a cycling enthusiast, summoned Alexandre Destro, psychologist and behaviorist, to his home to tell him some unexpected news. “A few days ago, something happened to me. It hit me. And since then, I don’t know what to do.” he explained on camera, before the arrival of the specialist. The future groom then seemed clearly disturbed by the situation.
But what happened? Has he met anyone in the meantime? Or did he simply change his mind about the experience? “I’m trying to find my words. It’s not easy. I have to explain to him what’s happening to me, and he has to understand“, he confided, before blurting out, after a heavy silence: “I want to stop this experiment.” A new feature in the Belgian version of Married at First Sight.
