Rochefort: a building of 11 apartments evacuated due to a fire, in Jemelle

During the night from Sunday to Monday, around 4:45 a.m., a fire broke out in a building on avenue de Ninove, in Jemelle. The fire started in the attic of this three-story building with 11 apartments, indicates Patrice Liétart, spokesperson for the DINAPHI emergency zone.

The damage is significant. All the accommodations are uninhabitable. The residents were able to take refuge in a reception center set up in the Jemelle village hall.
