These SF series should fill the lack while season 2 of Siloon Apple TV+, has just ended.
Season 2 of Silo ended (to make way, since then, in season 2 of Severance). After this end of the season which turns out to be very resolved, we already know that the 3 and 4 seasons were ordered. But there, immediately, to fill the void left by this breathless and oppressive story, what series of science fiction to watch just after Silo ?
Fondation (Apple TV+)
To the rank of unsuitable books, Fondation has always been in a good place. This cult universe resulting from the golden age of the SF, and signed Isaac Asimov, nevertheless experiences an adaptation in TV series, again on Apple TV+. She too is in her season 2 (and a third already filmed!). The initial work was known to be a kind of ode to science and mathematics, to the sauce space opera. The adaptation takes up this principle well, while modernizing the story and including a little more action.
It follows a fairly dizzying science fiction work, where it is still a question of avoiding at all costs that the galaxy sinks into a dark age.
Fallout (Prime Video)
Devastated land, a network of underground bunkers where the last humans survive … It almost feels still in Silo. But this time, it is the adaptation of a video game. The series Fallouton Prime Video, caused a sensation last year, both for its quality and in terms of success on the streaming platform. The heroine, interpreted by Ella Purnell, leaves the bunker … and ventures into a dangerous world, governs by her own rules. A survival Very well conducted.
Station Eleven (Universal+/Prime Video)
Among the most successful post-apocalyptic series, there is a rather little-known nugget: Station Eleven. Again, this is an adaptation, from the work of Emily St. John Mandel. The story is after a devastating pandemic, of course, but the originality of the work is in its choice of protagonists: Station Eleven Follows a traveling theater company that travels to the heart of this post-apo America. An ode to art, hope, and a series carried by an achievement to the aesthetics of (very) high level. The end of a world, rather than the end of the world? What if art was the most fundamental common sense, even after the collapse of civilization?

The series is available on Prime Video via the Universal+ option (7 days of free trial).
Upload (Prime Video)
After the oppressive episodes of Silomaybe you would need a little optimism? Or at least, freshness. Not easy to find in the field of science fiction, but fortunately, the creator of The Office (US) found the solution: Uploadon the video bonus. In this future, humans can pass on (upload) in a virtual paradise where their consciousness is entirely downloaded. In this futuristic version of The Good Placeall people uploaded also have a “angel”, a living person who helps them get used to life after death.
Upload Choose the tone of humor, during pleasant episodes of 30 minutes. But the series does not forget to be intelligent on the bottom, and well designed on the form. A real air bubble.
