“Conciliabule”, new comic show hosted by Pénélope Bagieu on France.tv

France Télévisions launches its new magazine “Conciliable” entirely dedicated to comics. The channel decided to act in the face of the observation that no television program was devoted to the 9^e art.

Broadcast on Culturebox and France.tv and hosted by Penelope Bagieua leading figure in contemporary French comics and particularly known for his series Culottées (Gallimard BD), the show offers viewers the opportunity to discover the journey of a comic book author in less than an hour.

A one-on-one conversation between artists, complete with drawing responses, which will take place in an elegant bistro in Butte aux Cailles, a place decorated with drawings and street art.

For the premiere, Thursday January 30 at 9 p.m., Penelope Bagieu receives Catherine Meurissedesigner, author, caricaturist at Charlie Hebdo and postpone. She is multi-awarded for her various works such as Lightness (Dargaud, 2016) Coup de coeur prize at the Quai des Bulles.
