In May 2024, Mathieu Ceschin's life was turned upside down. The emblematic candidate of the 15th season of Love is in the Meadow has become the father of a little boy named Ezio. It was thanks to a surrogacy journey (GPA), with a surrogate mother from Colombia, started as a couple with her ex-husband, Alexandre, then continued alone, that the bull breeder was able to found his family . If the reality TV candidate is filled with happiness by his new role as a father, he is however the target of numerous criticisms. Indeed, many Internet users make homophobic remarks or criticize his choice to turn to GPA to have a child. But the criticism goes even further. In Jeremstar's Baby Story show on January 19, Mathieu revealed that some people had contacted social services. In fact, he claimed to have already received complaints to the ASE, child welfare.
“In fan groups [de L’amour est dans le pré]it's a surge of hatred… Abominable”, he confided. While he has always claimed his role as a single father, Mathieu Ceschin announced that he was ready to take legal action. “With my lawyer, we are ready . She tells me to expect an investigation. Even if it won't lead anywhere, because I have nothing to reproach myself for, the addition of complaints will inevitably lead to an investigation,” he assured.
