After two years of waiting, spectators will finally discover the sequel to Yellowjackets. The drama and horror series will return to Paramount+ on February 14 with the broadcast of the first two episodes of season 3. Series fans are holding their Valentine’s Day program. As a reminder, Yellowjackets is a modern reinterpretation of the novel His Majesty of the Flies published by William Golding in 1954. The plot has been reworked for our times and tells of the journey of a women’s football team stranded in the wilderness after a plane crash. The series was acclaimed for its original structure, telling the story halfway between present and past in order to explore the trauma of the survivors several decades after their rescue.
As the launch of the new episodes approaches, the American broadcaster Showtime has released a final trailer which does not fail to set the tone. The group’s deepest secrets will surface and promise even more intense and violent scenes than before. What really happened before the team was found?
